Insurance for a Rainy Day
I always run a dry bag as a pack liner so I never felt the need for a rain cover until being caught in a torrential downpour. I didn’t have the option of stopping and waiting out the storm because I had miles I needed to hike before sundown so I kept on. Needless to say my pack was soaked. I decided after that trip to purchase a rain cover and narrowed in on the Stone Glacier as one of the best. It has been great and has served its purpose.
Still hunting but having to deal with fires and smoke. Your pack and accessories are working perfectly. Having to hunt new areas as our old camp site in the Eagle Cap Wilderness was burned.
It worked like it should. Nice it has the cut outs for the waist belt and you can tighten it to the pack even when it’s condensed for day trips. The sleeve isn’t attached to the cover so make sure you don’t loose it.
