MADE IN THE USA

ULTRALIGHT HUNTING PACKS

Our pack systems are known as the lightest and quietest load-carrying packs available. Built from diligent design focused on the demands of backcountry hunters, our packs are made for functional, durable performance in the field. Adaptable innovations like Bivy Mode and the Load Shelf give hunters stealth in the pursuit and efficiency in hauling meat off the mountain on day hunts, week-long expeditions, and everything in between. All of our packs are manufactured in the USA and built with industry-leading textiles like Cordura® and Xpac®. Our packs are the foundation of Stone Glacier, and they are designed and built to exceed your expectations.

Designed for the Minimalist Backcountry Hunter

VERSATILE

ANY BAG, ANY FRAME

Stone Glacier pack systems are designed to provide the ultimate in versatility and function. All bags and frames are interchangeable, allowing you to customize a pack system for your specific needs. This system allows you to own one frame and multiple bags so you can switch out your bag depending on the hunt. Gone are the days of needing to own multiple packs for different hunts. With Stone Glacier, you only need one frame for all scenarios.

COMPRESSIBLE

SKY TO BIVY MODE

All Sky Series bags can seamlessly transform from Sky Mode to Bivy Mode for functional adaptability on the hunt. Sky Mode allows the user to utilize the top lid and upper snow collar to gain the maximum cubic inches from the bag. With a quick adjustment, these bags can be converted to a lighter, smaller cubic-inch size by removing the lid and folding the top snow collar down for complete weather protection. Bivy Mode is ideal for day hunts and when dropping cubic inches once at your backcountry base camp.

MINIMALIST

BAG DESIGN

Because ounces make pounds and unnecessary features often turn into distractions, Stone Glacier Bags are built with a minimalist mindset to give you everything you need and nothing you don’t.

MODULAR POCKETS. DIALED ORGANIZATION.

Pockets designed to be modular and removable, and fit all your gear and quick-to-need items. Hydro Holster and Sleeve will keep you hydrated.

Integrated

load shelf

A Load Shelf is integrated into all of our frames, allowing the user to expand the bag from the frame to haul gear or meat in between the bag and the frame. This eliminates the need to put meat inside the bag and keeps the heaviest of loads more stable and closer to your back for increased comfort. The Load Shelf is rated to 150 pounds on all three Stone Glacier frames.

TORSO

ADJUSTMENT

All Stone Glacier frames provide the industry’s most simple and functional torso adjustment. Unlike other pack manufacturers, our frames can fit a wide range of torso sizes and provide micro-adjustability rather than limiting adjustment to set sizes every half inch.

Proper Pack Fit

When fitting a Stone Glacier Pack, there are three things we look for in a perfect fit. (A) First, we always want the belt centered on the tip of your hip bone. Belt positioning can be altered by adjusting the attachment height of the shoulder straps. (B) Next, we want to make sure the shoulder straps make solid contact with the backside of our shoulders. (C) If a gap is present between the shoulder strap and shoulder, it often can be eliminated by loosening the load lifters. Lastly, we want to aim for the color transition on the shoulder straps (D) to land on, or close to, your collarbone. Placement can be altered with a combination of adjusting the attachment height of the shoulder straps on the frame sheet and loosening of load lifters.

Pack Care

While Stone Glacier packs are very resilient pieces of backcountry equipment, they should still be treated with care. Here are some guidelines to ensure the longest life-span of your gear:

1.) Hand wash in warm water with mild dish soap or lightly power wash with mild dish soap to remove organic materials.

2.) Do not use bleach or hard detergents as they break down the fabric and thread integrity.

3.) Do not store in direct sunlight as long-term UV will degrade the fabric and coating.

4.) Do not machine wash as the agitation may weaken and damages the water-resistant coating of the fabrics.
