NorCal Sportsmen’s Gear Drive Update
Gear donations are beginning to come in and the response has been awesome! It’s always great to see how gracious our community of sportsmen and women are. Many individuals in Northern California have reached out asking the best way to get gear to us, so we have set up a handful of drop-off locations across the West Coast to save on shipping expense. Please see below for more information regarding these drop-off locations as well as details on the final distribution.
As well, for anyone shipping gear directly to us at Stone Glacier, please ensure that we will receive the gear by December 13th so we can make sure it gets in the trailer for delivery.

Help us Donate Hunting and Fishing Gear to Wildfire Victims
The recent Camp Fire in Northern California devasted the town of Paradise, burning more than 17,000 structures and killing over 70 people. There are still hundreds of people missing and thousands displaced. Paradise happens to be home to a ton of serious and passionate outdoorsmen and women. The town is surrounded by the vast public lands of Plumas and Lassen National Forests. Located in the foothills above California’s central valley, Paradise is only miles away from the Pacific Flyway, which is home to world-class waterfowl hunting, minutes from the Feather River, and a stone’s throw from the Sacramento River.
Hundreds of Sportsmen and women that lived in Paradise lost everything, including all their hunting and fishing gear. We hope you will join us in donating any of your old hunting gear back to these individuals. We plan to gather as much gear as possible, load up the Stone Glacier trailer, and drive it out to California to give it back to these hunters and anglers who lost everything.
Here’s the details:
Ship any gear you are willing to donate to Stone Glacier (address below).
We will inventory all the gear and deliver it to the Camp Fire victims who lost their hunting and fishing gear in the fire.
Most gear is welcome: jackets, pants, backpacks, bows, optics, boots, fishing poles & tackle, etc. Unfortunately, we cannot take guns, ammo, or cash donations.
Details coming soon regarding the date and location for the distribution.
If you are in Bozeman, please feel free to drop off your donations at our office location.
If you are in Northern California, we will arrange a drop off location there to avoid shipping costs.
If you have gear you are willing to donate but can’t afford to ship it, please call us so we can discuss a cost-effective way to get the gear.
While there is no way to replace the lives lost by this overwhelming disaster we hope this small gesture can help the Sportsmen of Northern California get back on their feet and into the woods.
